ISED Solutions invites students enrolled in under graduate and graduate programs to participate in internships with ISED. Interns gain valuable insights into current refugee, immigrant, asylee, economic, international development and policy issues.

ISED Solutions is very pleased to present its 2009 Annual Report.  In the interest of stepping forward with new processes which provide economies of time along with economies of scale the Annual Report is a two page poster link to our on going interactive program report presented on our web page.

ISED Solutions’ Board of Directors met in Washington August 6 and 7 for its quarterly meeting. The Board of Directors includes eleven members, two of whom are “ex-officio” representing a diverse array of interests and disciplines.

ISED Research Program Manager, Maria Hein, discusses findings from the System of Care for Youth in Transition (SOCYIT) participant interviews with the SOCYIT partners.

Evaluation is the process of determining significance or worth, usually by careful appraisal and study. Evaluation is the analysis and comparison of actual progress vs. prior plans, oriented toward improving plans for future implementation. It is part of a continuing management process consisting of planning, implementation, and evaluation; ideally with each following the other in a continuous cycle until successful completion of the activity. Evaluation is the process of determining the worth or value of something. This involves assigning values to the thing or person being evaluated.

Mark your calendars for the upcoming National Immigrant Integration Conference being held June 24 – 26 in Denver, CO. The conference is sponsored by the Spring Institute for Intercultural Learning and should present a good opportunity for hearing and sharing information, ideas, and experiences surrounding immigrant integration issues.
